Resident Teacher – Alma Elder

Alma has been a dedicated disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years. Her Dharma experience comes from many years of living and working in Kadampa Meditation and Retreat Centres.

Alma is kind, caring and approachable and her teachings are clear and easily understood. She is able to relate her teachings to the everyday lives of students to solve their daily problems.

Alma teaches the Wednesday Evening Meditation Class in Dumfries, the Online and In Person Saturday Courses and Retreats, and the Simply Meditate Classes

Teacher: Linda Hartley

Linda has been a dedicated student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years and is studying on the Foundation Programme.

Linda is an inspiring teacher who is greatly appreciated for her humour and her ability to make the teachings accessible and easy to incorporate into daily life.

Linda teaches the Tuesday Evening Meditation Class in Castle Douglas and the Simply Meditate Classes.

Teacher: Kirsty Hurst

Kirsty has been a dedicated student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. She has engaged in many meditation retreats and is studying on the Foundation Programme.

Kirsty is loved for her caring and gentle approach to teaching and enjoys sharing her experience and understanding of Buddha’s teachings for the benefit of others.

Kirsty teaches the Wednesday Morning Meditation Classes in Stranraer, the Thursday Lunchtime Meditation Classes in Whithorn and the Simply Meditate Classes.

Teacher: Jenny Craig

Jenny has been a dedicated student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 25 years and has taught meditation classes in Cumbria and Scotland. She is stydying on the Special Teacher Training Programme.

Jenny teaches from her heart and through her wealth of experience, she is able to make Buddha’s teachings accessible to all her students.

Jenny teaches the Simply Meditate Classes.
