The Magic of Mantra & Mala Making – With Kelsang Chandra & Visiting Teacher Kelsang Gakyi
Day course June 13 – 10:00am – 3.30pm (longer if needed)
Mantra means mind protection. For centuries, mantra recitation has been used to attain a peaceful and happy mind by pacifying the negative thoughts that give rise to our suffering. A mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. For Buddhist practitioners, their mala is a very precious and meaningful object.
Spend the day learning about the power of mantra and the traditional technique of mala-making, and create your very own mala to take away with you.
