Resident Teacher

Kelsang Chandra

Kelsang Chandra has been a dedicated disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years. Her Dharma experience comes from many years of living and working in Kadampa Meditation and Retreat Centres.

She is kind, caring and approachable and her teachings are clear and easily understood. She is able to relate her teachings to the everyday lives of students to solve their daily problems.

 
 
 

Teacher: Linda Hartley

Linda has been a dedicated student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years and is studying on the Foundation Programme.

Linda is an inspiring teacher who is greatly appreciated for her humour and her ability to make the teachings accessible and easy to incorporate into daily life.

Linda teaches the Monday Evening Meditation Class in Castle Douglas, Prayers for World Peace and some half-day courses at the Centre in Dumfries.

 Teacher: Jenny Craig

Jenny is a dedicated disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and has taught throughout Dumfries and Galloway for many years. Her practical application of Dharma and her rich wealth of experience translate into Jenny being a compassionate, wise teacher. Jenny teaches from her heart and makes Buddha’s teachings accessible to all her students. 
 
Jenny teaches the Monday evening and Tuesday lunchtime classes and some half-day courses at the Centre in Dumfries.

Teacher: Kirsty Hurst

Kirsty has been a dedicated disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years. She is an inspiring example of someone who uses her knowledge and experience of Buddha’s teachings to solve the problems of daily life. She is loved for her caring and gentle approach. 
 
Kirsty teaches Prayers for World Peace and some half-day courses at the Centre in Dumfries.
