Time: 10am – 12.30pm

Where: The Bridge, Glasgow Road, Dumfries DG2 9AW

We may feel that we have no choice but to become overwhelmed or disheartened when we meet with difficult people or circumstances. Through regular meditation we can learn how to lift up our own mind and stay strong and positive in the face of life’s challenges. In this way we can discover our own potential to stay peaceful no matter what happens, which brings a sense of real confidence and stability into our life.

During this uplifting course, Buddhist nun Gen Tubchen will explain how to develop a realistic sense of optimism and offer advice on how to live with hope, resilience, and vision in an uncertain world. The course will include short, guided meditations and time to ask any questions you may have.

Cost: £15 including refreshments.

Everyone welcome.
