Monday Evening Meditation Class
March 10th is the last class in our current series. Come along to find out more about the basics of meditation and training the mind. Then a new series begins on the topic of finding stillness within. See below for all the details.

3 week series 17 March, 24 March & 31 March
We are so used to being stimulated from the outside that we find it difficult to be quiet and enjoy the stillness of our own mind.
Our mind is extremely powerful, endlessly creating our experiences, but until we develop concentration we have no means to harness our mind’s power and use it to deeply transform our life and our world.
By training in concentration, we will develop greater peace in our mind, we will have fewer distractions, we will experience greater contentment, and we will be able to focus freely on whatever we wish, creating extraordinary change in our lives.
This unique training in concentration leads us to a special quality of mind called “tranquil abiding,” a deeper level of concentration that arises through training in meditation in a systematic way.
This course is a perfect preparation for engaging in a successful meditation retreat in the future. We are currently looking for a retreat venue to make this possible in Dumfries & Galloway in the near future!
