ABOUT THIS COURSE
Enjoy 4 stress-free evenings of peace and tranquillity!
Meditation is a simple but very effective method to calm the mind, let go of stress, tension and worry, and give rise to an experience of inner peace and wellbeing.
Especially suitable for beginners, you will be introduced to meditation techniques that can be practised by anyone.
During these classes you will gain practical experience of the benefits of meditation, including how to use meditation to handle stress, be happy, stay focused and have harmony in your relationships.
You can choose one meditation to focus on and train in at home to continue to experience these benefits for yourself.

• Each class is a stand-alone class.
• These classes are included FREE in membership, but members are still required to book
How the course is run
You will be sent a link to access the video to your email address on the day of the class.
The link will remain valid for three days after the class is shown.
21 April – Learn to Meditate week 1
28 April – Learn to Meditate week 2
5 May – Learn to Meditate week 3
12 May – Learn to Meditate week 4
Each class consists of:
2 relaxing guided Meditations
a short practical teaching
and advice on how to integrate meditation into daily life
Resident Teacher - Alma Elder
Alma is the Resident Teacher for Meditate in Dumfries and Galloway.
She has been a dedicated disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years. Her Dharma practice and experience comes from many years of living in and working at Kadampa and Retreat Centres. She is kind, caring and approachable and her teachings are clear and easily understood. She is able to relate her teachings to the everyday lives of students to solve their daily problems.
